These tracks have been written in response to four photographs by the Finnish photographer Tiina Törmänen for a collaborative art project with artist Scarlet Nieschmidt. The intention is to see how the tones and textures within the photographs translate through my music into paintings by Scarlet (Scarlet will paint to my tracks without actually seeing the photographs). This project started as the world went into lock down at the start of the COVID 19 outbreak, so has been delayed for a while. The paintings will hopefully be completed very soon.
